V-Box (samsung) Remote to control Vbox volume not TV?

Sorry to go all serious on the forum but....

V-Box (samsung) Remote to control Vbox volume not TV?

Is this possible? At the moment my Virgin remote controls the volume of my TV. Is possible to get it to control the Samsung boxes line volume like the old days?

Pull the batteries out? Should that not reset it?

I am probably wrong about this though. My reasoning is that to control the tv, you have to put codes in for the make of tv.

Worth a try I guess so thanks. I'm not by tv at the moment so will update tomorrow.

By this reasoning perhaps there's a code for the vBox?

Well, the remote that came with mine, was set to control the vbox and the vbox only when I got it, so this may be like restoring it back to the factory settings, so to speak. For it to control the tv, I had to put a code in and when the batteries have run out previously, it's gone back to the factory settings.

Worth a try anyway.

Yeah if you leave the batteries out for a while it'll go back to defaults
